January 2008 Worksop Gymnastics Club Have Moved! We have relocated to the Elephant Hut at Welbeck ( next to Dukeries Garden Centre). This is now a dedicated gymnastics facility, with equipment permanently laid out. Worksop Gymnastics Club Was founded over 30 years ago and now has over 70 members. As well as pre-school and recreational gymnastics for boys and girls of all ages and abilities, some gymnasts are able to progress to compete at county, regional and national level. All our coaches are fully qualified with years of experience and all are CRB checked. Clubs News, 10th January 2008 Congratulations to Tuxford 7/8/9 Girls and Serlby Park 7/8/9 Boys who won the inaugural Bassetlaw Inter -Schools Badminton Championships held at Bircotes and Harworth Leisure Centre. They will now represent Bassetlaw at the County Championships in February at Magnus School in Newark. Thank you to Serlby Park PE department for hosting the event and to all the teams that competed from local secondary schools. This is part of a national competition. The Championships will provide uniform competitive school badminton for Key Stages 3 and 4 across the whole of England by:  Increasing access to badminton and widening the choice of sports to young people Increasing high quality badminton competition within and between schools Increasing participation in badminton with more opportunities across the “talent ladder” Transforming badminton’s talent identification and development
